Series name chosen because unfortunately, for some owners, each day is the start of not just the daily pet related chores, but frustration which in turn leads to neglect of home and cat or leads to the final solution of abandonment or surrender of the cat to a shelter After being the owner of an award winning cattery for over twenty-six years, and owning multiple cats that achieved numerous honors and titles, she has stopped breeding and showing to dedicate her time, knowledge and experience with cat owners everywhere. Her first book Hairballs in the Morning, surviving and thriving in a multi-cat household was welcomed by numerous multiple cat owners. She appeared on Channel Fox 29 in Philadelphia and was reviewed in her local paper, the Daily times, as well as a New England publication and her book was considered for an award from Humane care of animals, particularly cats, as well as educating their owners to the real needs of both the cats and the household, is her passion and she has a deep commitment to help educate cat owners on easy and effective ways to make their lives and that of their pets the best they can be. Her belief is that by doing this in a concrete yet compassionate way using advice and actual examples to follow will go a long way toward stopping the abuse and abandonment caused by neglect, frustration and ignorance. She is working toward this goal through her writings as well as educational appearances and lectures, done with humane issues and education at the forefront. Also to this end, one dollar of each book sale during the first year will be donated to one of the humane organizations, including but not limited to, the groups listed in the front page of the book. The second book is an even more comprehensive look at many of the Real issues that every cat owner faces. It provides her unique perspective on such topics as; a frank look at adopting and purchasing of a cat, yes there is room for both, and to that end warns and guides against the backyard breeder; both against purchasing from this type of breeder or becoming one yourself; even one breeding for the experience is one too many. There is a chapter exploring the true personality differences among cats and how it influences the daily interaction with the members of the household, as well as the home itself. It contains many helpful tips on caring for the entire home to make it cleaner and healthier for all, using the least amount of labor and time. There are also important discussions surrounding decisions made during and after an emergency, or life changes for the owner, as well as the practical issues faced after the death of a beloved pet. These and many other aspects of cat ownership are covered in this book and are handled with an eye to the realities and responsibilities of good pet ownership. All subjects are covered in an interesting and commonsense manner and will be enlightening, informative as well as thought provoking for all cat owners, whether the owner of one or even more cats.
